- Best Answer:Dear What's A Toner:
A toner is a solution that acts as a cleanser to de-clog your pores and to bring the correct ph-balance to your skin. It helps to deep cleanse the skin and give you a clearer, pimple-free complexion. Remember after using a toner to apply some type of moisturizer to your skin to prevent over-drying. Hope this helps!!! Use it after cleansing the skin.

- Answer:A toner is actually a liquid that helps your skin achieve the correct PH
The PH scale accounts for how acidic or alkaline your skin is.
It should be a 4.5 to 5.5 on the ph scale, and toner helps achieve that.
If your skin is more oily, you should be using an astringent rather than a toner, it is the same principle but for oily skin rather than combination to dry skin.
- Answer:The main role of toner is to completely remove dead skin cells and alkali residue so that the skin can breathe correctly. The balanced acidity of the toner restores the skin's normal pH resulting in smooth, clean and refreshed skin.
when do u apply it and everything? It depend on the kind that you get.
- Answer:The toner is what you use after you have washed your face with the cleanser of your choice. After cleansing, you apply the toner, which cleans your pores and takes off any excess dirt that your cleanser did not get. Then, you follow that with your favorite moisturizer. I love Jafra. I sell it and it's great.
- Answer:toner is good for people with oily skin. it soaks up the oil on your face. most skin care professionals don't think that its a nesseccary part of your daily skin care routine, although it might help if you have really oily skin. it doesn't hurt to use though.. if you want to, it depends on what the bottle it comes in is. if its a spray, then all you do is spray it on your face, and wait for it to dry. if its in a bottle, the use a cotton pad and use that to spread it around your face, then let it dry.
- Answer:Toner is good for dry sensitive skin to... (if it's for oily skin, the equivalent is astringent) I use nivea Visage's gentle toner (it's pink colored), yes it's not necessary, but meh.. I bought it so I'm using it haha.
MAKE SURE IT'S ALCOHOL FREE IF YOU TRY TONER!!!! Alcohol is bad for your skin even if removes zits, but long term wise.. no..
- Answer:A toner brings your skin back to the correct pH level. When we wash our skin we strip away its defenses. Your skin needs to be slightly acidic to fight off bacteria. This is what a toner does for you.
You apply a toner between cleansing and moisturizing at morning and at night.
Hope that helps!
- Answer:no u dont need it...its jus to even out ur skin or biring a lil bit of a glow in the complexion and clean the face a bit more if it is uneaven or dull looking...i dont use it unless its mid winter...u apply it after u have washinged ur face and all that and before u moisturize if u do at all...u dont need it i wouldnt recommend it if u believe u have a good complexion and ur pretty clear...rule of thumb when messing with so many soaps and chemicals...dont mess when something that doesnt need messing with esp with the face...so many people use unecessary stuff for their face and so many unescessary steps...some toners do end up thinning the skin...so yeah..dont use it if u believe ur good enough on ur skin regimen.
- Answer:A toner is used to "calm" the skin or to neutralize the skins PH back to normal.....Witch hazel is a natural toner/astringent....if you are fighting a blemish and your skin is swollen or red...wash, rinse, tone....exfoliate, rinse and tone again....then moisturize...
- Answer:a toner can be in a liquid form (apply with cotton ball) or a spray bottle. you are supposed to apply after you wash your face to refresh and cleanse pores. however you dont actually need it, plenty of people have good skin and they dont use toners
- Answer:a toner is something that helps remove excess dirt and oil that just washing your face might have missed. i would recommend using a toner right after you wash your face. plus it also helps calm down your skin a lot:D
