04/26/2008Help with tragus piercing??
- I pierced my tragus 2 weeks ago today, and it seems to be healing up nicely. I was just wondering if it would be okay to sleep on the side that it is pierced. For the past 2 weeks i have slept on my other side, and its starting to annoy me. I cant sleep on my back either. The piercing is still a little tender to the touch, but im sure it wouldnt cause any pain to sleep on it...I just dont want it to get infected. Do you think it will be safe to sleep on that side now?

- Best Answer:Make sure you have clean blankets, pillows, and pillowcases and you should be fine to sleep on it.
If you wake up in the morning with a sore piercing, then you will know to wait longer.
You could do like I do and position your pillows and/or arms in such a way to where you can sleep on that side, but not sleep on the piercing.
