- I have a camera which my dad just recently gave me. It's pretty good a nd hd, but it records on cassetes or tapes. Is there any way I could put them into a computer.
here is a video of what it looks like http://video.yahoo.com/watch/1217467
- Best Answer:If the camcorder is indeed the CCD-TRV68 that was in that video you linked too, here is your manual:
http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/model-d...
This camcorder is a Hi8 analog device. There are no digital connections (USB or DV/Firewire).
An AV cable came with the camcorder. The 1/8" jack plugs into the AV port of the camcorder. Instead of plugging the Yellow-video (or S-Video) and black mono audio jacks into a TV to playback, you will plug into an analog/digital bridge.
If your computer has only USB:

If your computer has Firewire:

Then the A/D bridge plugs into your computer.
- Answer:Consult the manufacturer support site for your camcorder & download a manual,
