- Best Answer:they use a TV tuner card in the computer. i am not sure you can do this in the UK where televisions are licensed, but no problem in the USA. The computer can then record TiVo style.
- Answer:They don't film TV perfectly and there's no such cord. If you want to record TV broadcasts you'll need a VCR or a DVD / HD recorder.
