04/26/2008Semi-wet cell phone...rice?
- okay, well i was taking a shower then bath and had my phone on the toilet beside me because i was listening to music. i've done this plenty of times before, hasn't affected it at all. well now, only the red 'end call' button is working. this has happened to me with every phone i've had, lol. anyway, the phone isn't even wet. at all. i ran over everything with a paper towel, and theres no sign of water or anything. the battery is out and so is the sim card. so now my question is, what do i put in the rice? because i know you're supposed to do that to dry it out. but do i put the phone itself in, the battery, the sim card or what? its a maroon/brown razr2 from at&t. thank you!
- Best Answer:Definently put it all in rice. My friends phone was dropped in a sink of water and that fixed it. It definently will not hurt it so its worth a try.
