04/26/2008GT5 PS3 Problems - Help Needed?
- Hello, i have recenbtly purchased a PS3, and the internet on it works perfectly fine, no problems at all, using it all the time. Sadly when on Gran Turismo 5 it alerts me off and update which i must download before i can play online etc. The problem is the download always fails, or if it gets through, takes aggggges, then fails. Anyone know whats happening, as when using the internet normally, its very fast!!!!
- Best Answer:I downloaded the GT5 update just fine without any problems, but the update did take a little while to install. If it takes a long while for the download, just wait until it finishes. If the download continues to fail, it could be a problem with the Server.

This happens to me but a bit different
When i press online it has said i need to download an update and the money i won off events will be transferred to my online account of GT: prologue
And it takes a long time.. and i was thinking it was me but it isn't and will be downloading it soon :)
- Answer:could be an issue with the server. test your internet connection, and make sure its picking up every thing. othrt than that the only thing i can thik of is the servers supplying the update.
