04/26/2008I went to my local target store today and sa wthe core version of xbox 360 i thought all core xbox 360's had
- been discontinued i am worried that if i get this then when i want to play new games on it they might not work can someone please help me?
- Best Answer:Did you see the Core? Or the Arcade?
The Core was discontinued and replaced with the Arcade so that they could add a little value to the package (The Arcade comes with a wireless controller instead of wired, and has the HDMI port. This was their way of implementing the HDMI port into the Core).
The Arcade is basically the Core. If you saw some actual Cores, they'll work fine. The only major differences are the HDMI, the wired controller, and the 45nm processors. Those run cooler, but don't impact the user directly. You will eventually want a Hard Drive tho, I promise you that. Just save up the extra cash and get a Premium. :)
- Answer:all games work on every xbox it is just you will need to get a hard drive for the core it can be the small 30GB it does not matter, but you will need one
- Answer:Core, Elite, Premium...each bundle has different accessories, but all Xbox are the same. So all the games created for 360 should work...Don't worry about that.
- Answer:I got a free Xbox 360 from this site, I highly recommend it!
