04/26/2008Three players for RockBand on the PS3?
- We bought RockBand for the PS3 last night, but can't figure out how three people can play. The guitar, drums and mic all require a USB port, but the PS3 only has two USB ports. Am I missing a really obvious solution here?
- Best Answer:You must have the 20 or 40 gb. The 60 and 80 gb has 4 USB ports. You have to get a USB hub so you can play with 3 players. You can get those for cheap on eBay or something.
- Answer:Because you have a 40gb PS3. When Rock Band originally came out, the 60gb and 80gb PS3s had four USB ports. Your 40gb only has two. You need to buy a USB hub from Best Buy. They are only like $15.
- Answer:I THINK a piece was supposed to come with it that had 4 USB slots, and you plug them all into one of the slots on the PS3... But I only have the PS2 version, don't know if it's different...

- Answer:For real it only has two mine has four.I got mine when they first came out though.As soon as i saw a PS3 my dad bought it than he bought an extra one for him.
