04/26/2008How do i do a hard reset on my palm treo 650?
- today i started noticing some problems on my phone.. it shuts off and when i turn it back on it says "not enough power to activate phone.." and then it performs and network search and nothing is happening.. i press the reset button numerous which i'm guessing is called a soft reset.. but how do you do a hard reset? my friend told me to hold the arrow down and press the reset button.. then what do i do? and which arrow is it? i've tried all three arrows.. am i doing it right?

- Answer:To do a hard reset:
1 - take off the back
2 - poke the reset hole in back while holding the power/end-call button
3 - don't let go of the power button until you see the SECOND palm logo
4 - you should get a prompt to "erase all data" by hitting the 5 way up.
5 - hit the 5 way up and you should be all set.
