04/26/2008How do i know who's calling me? It only rings once! Pleaseeee help!?
- For the past week, i've recieved private calls on my cell phone, it rings once, and they hang up. i don't have problems with anybody, and i can't think of anybody who would do this. And JUST NOW my house phone rang once and they hung up. It did'nt show up on my caller id, so i dailed *67 and it said the last number to call was my mom's number, which she did call, BEFORE the private call. Is there ANY way i can find out who's calling me?! It's driving me nuts!!!!!!
- Best Answer:well i dont think it registers unless they dial twice. other than that i dont know. i always thought it was *69 guess not
- Answer:The caller ID information is transmitted after the second ring. If the caller is hanging up before that you will not get the info, or maybe get partial info. Contact your phone service provider and explain to them what is happening. It's harassment, and they will work with you and the police to make it stop.
