04/26/2008Flat Screen TVs?
- If I'm using a flat screen TV to advertise to the outside through a large window, what kind should I get?
What types are not in danger from sunlight or
have the least glare? Which have the clearest picture
for these types of conditions?
Any help will be appreciated.
- Best Answer:LCDs are much better for lighted areas. Plasmas are known to only be used for darker rooms or rooms with minimal windows.
When you purchase an LCD, just make sure you avoid the models with the shiny finish/coating. This will cause unwanted reflections that other LCDs don't show.
- Answer:i think you can get a wide LCD with much contrast
2000:1 or even more
(i'm not sure if lcd tv's do have the contrast so high, my computer monitor is lcd wide 20''and has 2000:1 and there are models with even higher contrast things)
so yes, you can also read reviews on the web for yourself, i'm not too keen in the LCD Tv area but my lcd Pc monitor is LG and it's very neat

- Answer:I agree with that answer, but will add that you will also want to look into the actual viewing angle of the TV itself. That will give you a clearer picture without having to stand directly in front of it to see it.

- Answer:One other advantage of plasma HD TV is they offer wider viewing angles, so people will see what is on the screen for longer.
