  • Best Answer:There is no difference frequently, but the word 'business' could be used as adjective for behavior, its intensity or frequency or velocity e.g. 'what's this sudden business about' from 'I am busy' or in other words at this time my labor is committed to this activity and has priority until completed. All value exchanges be they financial, monetary or product for other product is trade, and all trading is a business, e.g. 'what is your business' is a question concerning your specialized labor for trade. Your trade may be conducted in a corporate role or self as a one member business identity.

The state does not need to recognize all business of its national members, but members may need the state to recognize their business.
  • Answer:What is this obsession with different words and their meanings? Its obviously important but as long as you know the context it doesn't matter. As you are in the Business/investing sector lets assume we are talking investment. Answer then is NO. A company could trade in machine tools or its business could involve machine tools. I could have done some stock exchange trades or trading today or I could have done a bit of business in stocks and shares.
If you were splitting hairs you could say trading was more manufacturing, retailing etc and business was more Banking, Insurance, Financial. But then in the 1960's a lot of Essex market stall(barrow boys) came into stockbroking and became market (stock) traders with a fair amount of success.
    Anyway, who cares?
  • Answer:Not sure where you're trying to go with this

Trading/investing is my business, or to put it another way
    my business is trading securities/commodities

therefore to me there is no difference but others may respond to your question that would better satisfy you
  • Answer:What exactly do you mean by "Business"?
  • Answer:In what context?
