04/26/2008Has any one used baking soda to whiten your teeth?
  • Are there any dangers in it? Dose it work?
  • Best Answer:It is safe, just try not to swallow it. It really works quite well. And if you're nervous about doing it, just get the arm and hammer toothpaste!
  • Answer:Im thinking it would work as it's in toothpastes, but i doubt it by itself would be any good for your teeth .

Try whitening strips by crest - not available in the UK cause that's what dentists use on a scale polish and whitening, they're really good and work within 1 week, but don't use them too often as you'll damage the enamal in your teeth and will end up in agony. Can buy in the states or order online
  • Answer:Ive never tried it. It would casue damage to your tooth enamel beause it is an abrasive material when mixed with water. Would you reallly want to clean your teeth with something that can remove stubbourn grease stains off the cooker?

I think not. Don't try it!
  • Answer:As the previous answer said, it is already used in many toothpastes here is a link to help you :)
