04/26/2008Please Help!!!?
- Alright this is how it happened i was playing basketball with my brothers and by accident he elbowed me in my central tooth.
As soon as he did it i felt like it was a little lose so i hurried checked for blood and thank god there was none, my tooth is in there good but it seems hard but if you really try wiggling it ..well it wiggles but just a tiny bit.
What do you guys think i should do?
Do you think its serious? Should i go to the dentist? Or should i just wait till it heals, if it ever does?
Thank you for all you answers!
Also i don't want to run around looking like roofless toothless (lol) with 1 missing front tooth so getting it pulled is not an option.
- Best Answer:EDDIE,
LEAVE IT ALONE, DON'T WIGGLE IT AND KEEP AN EYE ON IT FOR 2 WEEKS, IF IT CAUSES FURTHER PROBLEMS SEE THE DENTIST.
IT'S NORMAL FOR A TOOTH TO FEEL SOMEWHAT LOOSE AFTER TRAUMA.
YOU WILL BE FINE.
- Answer:It's fine, I'm sure. When you try wiggling your tooth with your fingers...more than likely it's the cushion of your fingers which causes you to believe the tooth is moving. When a Dentist checks for movement...they use the ends of two instruments.
If you start having pain in the tooth or discoloration...see your Dentist. He can take a radiograph (x-ray) to make sure everything is fine. The surrounding gums may be slightly tender the next day.
Good Luck!
- Answer:it should heal. all my teeth wiggle a little cause i have braces, but that doesn't mean they're gonna fall out. it's natural for all teeth to wiggle "a tiny bit" if there's no blood and it isn't wiggling a lot, leave it.
- Answer:if your tooth is not shaky better to leave it alone. It may start paining you or may get discolored after a week or two. Usually it will get ok. When it starts hurting you, you need to got to the dentist.
- Answer:Well the best answer i can get is go to the dentist and do fake teeth..
