Yesterday I shaved my pubic hairs and now it itches so badly I cant move without scratching myself. I can't even get to sleep tonight because it itches so much. Please help me. I have definitely learned my lesson.

What has happened is that you have irritated the skin around this area . This area is very sensitive and it takes time to get used to shaving . However I think you will now have decided it is not worth it !! You can always keep your pubic area tidy by trimming it with an electric razor when it grows a bit out of control

As for your scratching problem: Just explain politely to everyone who notices (this would probably be everyone in sight of you), that, NO you don't have crabs, and that you just shaved your privates and have severe itches. You can even explain (still politely) that you are now trimming and your scratching days will soon be over.
Answer:The first time u shave it it itches the worst. But anytime after it it wont be as bad. it prbly wont even itch. If you put lotion on right after shaving (i like to use cocoa butter) it will cut dwn on the itching. But u have to go thru this itchy period for now. You just have to wait until it gets a lil longer and thn it wont itch
Answer:Dude this is perfectly normal, do not even sweat it, your skin just gets irritated by what you have done. is just as wehn you first started shaving your face. (if it applies) it is gonna be so very eitchy but your body will sonn adapt to it.
Answer:Use St. Ives collegen & elastin lotion/moisturizer on it after you shave. It will cool the area and feel so good. You can buy St. Ives lotion in any store, like Albertson's. For an even cooler feeling, St. Ives also makes it in in Aloe Vera.
Answer:the same thing happened to me. the itch is the new hairs growing in, like the folicals of facial hair. I had this itchyness for a bout 3 days. Use lotions. I found that shampooing the area really good helped alot for a while.

Answer:I told u not to and you still do it... *sigh* I think you've learned ur lesson. Just make sure not to put a lot of pressure on it. That will make it worse. Just put some stuff on it. Look at others comments. I have no idea what that stuff is.

Answer:It gets better. I have been doing that for years and years and at first it sucked but now it feels itchy if I actually let it grow out. I shave once per week. Maybe it's the razor. I use a Gillette Fusion.
Answer:it itches becuase of razor burn ,what you can do is rub alcohol on it (it will sting for about 10 seconds badly but mit will work)
