  • What format (of video - like .wav and stuff) should a video for a DVD be?
  • Best Answer:Actually, it's usually in AC3 format(.vob). You should use DVD creation programs to make DVD's, since the conventional stuff(.wav, .avi, etc.) doesn't work on most DVD players.
  • Answer:a .vob file will play in commercial dvd players and game systems. .avi and .mpeg files will play if the player is .mpeg and .avi compliant. They are not actual dvd's though, they are video files.
  • Answer:Any video format will do.The thing is that you need to have media players that support the files.
  • Answer:.avi
