04/26/2008Auto Title Lost!!!?
- I am the owner of a lorry. I can't find the title physically. I've moved to another state different than the one it was titled in. Now I'm wanting to sell my vehicle.
Do I get a replacement in the original state and transfer it? Or do I just ask for replacement title in my new state....and somehow they magically pull it from my old state?
- Best Answer:you must have a title from the state it is titled in. Therefore you will have to get a duplicate title from that state. You can usually do this by mail. You may have to get a release of lien form whoever held the loan on your lorry that is assuming there was a loan. Tell me which state and I can answer better
